Sprite/Emote Comissions

Like most things in life, buying in bulk gives discounts. The more emotes I work on, the more assets I have of your character that I can reuse and make edits to..I'll be using my character as the example images here.

As you can see, the first 4 examples are from the same pose, with different expressions. From the last 3 poses, you can see that depending on the variation, I can reuse a significant portion of the first pose to build onto the next.

First emote pose $20Additional poses can be between $5-$10If an additional pose is complex enough I cannot reuse assets, and have to draw the new pose from scratch, it may be between $10-$20

Expression variation

The problem with expression pricing is, the variation depends on the character design. Naturally the human character is more complex, since expressions involve mouth, pupils, and eyebrows. Whereas my robot only has eyes to express emotions, so it's a lot easier to create a new expression for it.I think the best/fairest way I can think of to do this is $2 per expressive piece, by that I mean -Eyebrows = $2
Eye shape = $2
Pupils = $2
Mouth = $2
Additional expressions pricing will vary based on how many new assets will be created. However, more assets means I can give a lot more variation, combining different assets to create new expressions..For example, using angry eyebrows and a frown would make an angry expression, but angry eyebrows and a smile would be a more confident/determined expression. Giving 2 new expressions, while reusing a previous asset. Each new facial expression will be combined to create multiple new faces for the same base pose.

It's all a very complicated process, and once again, prices are estimated.All emotes will be given the cell shading style of your choice, so unlike other commissions, shading is already factored into the base price.All prices are listed in USD.These prices are not final. Your price may be increased or decreased based on multiple factors, typically on how detailed the character is.This chart exists to help you estimate what you want based on what you're willing to pay. A final price will be given and paid before I begin drawing the commission.I aim for fair prices for both parties, art takes a LOT of work and effort, especially in an age where some settle for lazy AI generated crap.I am willing to discuss details of course! I want this process to be good and enjoyable for both of us. <3
